The Honey Buzzard Day

The Honey BuzzardsDay was arranged for the first time in 1992. The purpose of this special day is to make people aware of the need for the protection of birds and create opinion against hunting that threatens our migratory birds especially around the Mediterranean. The Honey Buzzards Day takes place on the Sunday of Falsterbo Bird Show and inside the arena everyone who is interested can watch and follow Honey Buzzards and other migrating raptors as they pass the Falsterbo peninsula on their way to southern latitudes.
